This site allows for payment of PAC activities by credit card and Paypal. It also provides automatic totalling of dollar amounts, food to be ordered etc, which makes life easier for parent volunteers.
This site also has a directory of all parents (and their children) that have registered on the site, a calendar, photos, and announcements.
To make purchases, you will need to register as a new user if you haven't used the site before.
When it is time to checkout (pay), you will be transferred to Paypal. There you can login if you have an existing Paypal account, or enter your information to pay by credit card. You can optionally create a Paypal account after entering your information.
After entering your information at Paypal, you will be automatically transferred back to http://www.cavellpac.ca where you will be shown an 'Order Confirmation' screen. You will not charged for the order until you press 'Place Order' in this screen.
Why are we using Paypal? Paypal is an industry leader for secure online payments. Having them handle the payment portion of the transaction gives us a very secure transaction at a low cost. You can also link your Paypal account to your bank account and transfer money back and forth, giving parents that don't want to use credit cards another option for online payment.
If you wish to pay using Paypal with money transferred from your bank account, you will need to setup a Paypal account ahead of time before placing your order. You can do that by going to www.paypal.com directly. Please note that it takes 7-10 days for Paypal to setup the link with your bank account.
All information collected on this site will be used solely to track orders within the school. Your information will never be released to a third-party or shared with any other organization.
The school directory is only visible to parents logged into the site.
